February 2010 update of onestopclil.com

Dear Colleagues,

the February issue of onestopclil is now online.

The main focus this month is Young Learners and my editorial points to a wide range of resources and articles related to teaching primary content through the medium of English as a foreign language.

There are a number of extra bits and pieces on the site too like the rocket mice experiment, and an American revolution question loop for those of you doing History through English and a worksheet based on Angkor, Cambodia for Geography.

If you've ever wondered why the Dutch speak English so well, one reason is their education. You can read what Loes Coleman has to say on this topic. Loes is a CLIL specialist from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
